This Damian Meade trained dog looks to have found the right race tonight. Last start ran a close second in best of the night 26.27 beaten only .11. The run was much better than it looked on paper. He began well from box 3 and was able to hold the lead but it was a bunched field early and he had to work very hard in the run. Even in the straight when he got headed late, he still fought back to go down narrowly. The start prior at Traralgon over the 450 was a complete forget run. He missed the start, found trouble and was pushed back to last and couldnt get into the race at all. Down in classs here and from the prized red box he looks the best bet of the night at around the $2.70 mark.

This Neville Bischard prepared dog is racing in great heart having won his last two starts. At his most recent win at Traralagon over the 395 he began well from box 8 raced around the field and was never threatened to win impressively by 3.53 lenghts in a fair time of 22.51 Prior to that having his first start at this course he fell out of the boxes but he soon mustered pace to go around the field to finish strongly and win well. With that run under his belt at this track and distance i anticipating him jumping better tonight and from box 1 with a clear run early should win this race. You won’t see anything like the odds he has been at his last two wins but $3.60 looks to be fair value.
