Let’s kick things off with Ghost Walker. I’ve been keeping an eye on this one, trained by Danielle Seib. The way he’s been handled in training lately, combined with Shaun Guymer’s riding skills, really makes me think he’s got a solid shot in this 1000m dash. He’s shown some spark in his recent outings and I reckon he’s due for a standout performance.
Next up, we’ve got Room For Squares under James Ponsonby. Mathew Cahill is in the saddle and I’m telling you, this combination could be dynamite. This horse has got a bit of pedigree that catches my eye and given the 1300m stretch at Wagga, he could really show his mettle. Definitely one to watch.
Now, onto Diesel. P J Morgan’s training regime has been spot-on and Billy Owen is a jockey who knows how to get the best out of his mount. Diesel’s been running consistently well, and over 1800m, I reckon he’s got the stamina and speed to make a serious impact. Keep an eye on him; he could be a game-changer.
Wrapping things up with Broadside Armour. Trained by P F Maher and ridden by Teighan Worsnop, this horse has shown some real grit in previous races. Over the 1200m distance, I’ve got a hunch he’ll be right in his element. There’s something about his form lately that just screams potential winner to me.
