Keep an eye on #4 Hell Hath No Fury. This mare has been on the cusp of a win with her recent performances, especially that near miss at Randwick. She’s in top form, and I reckon today’s race could be the one where she finally gets her due. I’m expecting a strong finish from her.

In this race, my pick is #2 Border Control. Despite a less impressive run last time out, the setup today looks ideal for him. He’s shown he can lead, and with the advantage of the inside gate, I believe he’s in a prime position to make a solid comeback. I’m backing him for the win.

Lastly, #2 Age Of Sail is one to watch. This European import, now with Kris Lees, has shown some serious promise in his trials. I think he’s well-prepared for his Australian debut. Even though he might be more suited to longer distances, I have a hunch he’s going to perform well today, especially with Nash Rawiller on board.
