I am sticking with this promising youngster to win again. I know this is his first public outing at Sandown. But he really looked super impressive at The Meadows last Thursday night. He bounced straight outside the leader and found the rail down the back straight and raced away for a very easy win. His time was only three tenths outside the best of the night. There have already been multiple winners to come out of that Maiden Final last week. He is jumping to a Grade 7 race tonight but the way he won last week, i am just hoping he can get clean running into the first turn. If he does he should be far too good for them again. Best of the night.
High quality dog who is coming off a placing in the State Final at The Meadows last Thursday night. He pounced straight on the lead then got crossed by Postman Pat going into the back straight. He never gave up and only ended up getting beaten two lengths. That has to be far superior form for a Grade 5 tonight. In saying that he is only one from six over the 515 meters here at Sandown. While there is plenty of speed drawn under him tonight it is hard to think that National form won’t stand up in a race of this caliber. For that reason i am making him the next best of the night.
