Ex Queenslander who was first up for the new stable here last Thursday night when he blasted out of box 1 and lead throughout for a narrow win. Time was only reasonable considering it was the first of the night. I am banking on the fact he was first up for 45 days leading into it and also his first try around Sandown under race conditions. While this is a harder race than last week the fact he showed really good box speed sways me to make him the best of the night at some sort of odds if he can find the lead again. Ashlee Terry is on fire at the moment with a 40% winning SR and 25% SR at Sandown so that is good enough for me.
High quality performer who returned from Queensland last week with a tiring third to the flying Hector Fawley. He showed early speed to be right in the mix going out of the straight. He gradually tired out of it in the last 200 meters. He is back to the 515 meters tonight where he is much better suited to the small field. I am banking on him being in front of his main danger and if he can lead he should be too good for them on his best form. Keep Me Vivid might be the problem at the start as he is very hit and miss but i am sticking with Kai Bale to get the job done in a skinny race.
