Consistent dog who returned to form last Sunday for a very easy win in reasonable time considering it was the last of the day and the track was rain affected. He began fair and was wide into the first turn but motored down the back to find the front and race away for a very easy win. Previously in a very similar race to tonight he only battled away after seemingly having every chance. I guess the big question is does he get a clean run into the first turn with speed drawn around him. Drawn close to the fence tonight is the key and for that reason and along the fact he is trained by Ashlee Terry I am making him the best of the night.

Highly consistent dog who is yet to miss a place over the 515 meters at Sandown. Three weeks ago here he chased Launch Code the whole way and never gave up the fight to go down by two lengths. Obviously Launch Code has gone on to far greater heights subsequent to that race. The Jason Thompson kennel is flying at the moment going at a staggering 46% SR after a double at Ballarat last night. Interestingly at Sandown though he is only going at half that figure. While there is some speed drawn around him if he can get a clear run into the first turn I am happy to take the chance and make him the second best of the night.
