Outstanding chaser who is in career best form. Only began fair but moved fast to work his way to the lead around the first turn at Sandown last week. He bolted away for a very easy win in the best of the night from the same box as tonight. Previous to that at Warragul he won the Pink Diamond Final in similar circumstances where he began fair only but really motored to work his way to the lead and was too strong. The form out of that Final has been stellar. He is 1/3 over the 515 meters here at The Meadows the latest being when he won here four weeks ago. While Baby Jaycee is in great form as well I am sure Transponder is a level above her. For that reason I am making him the best of the night.

Next Best: Race 1, No.5 Nature Strip.

This boy won by a cricket pitch at Shepparton last Monday after beginning reasonable and working to the lead into the first turn. He really raced away for a very easy win in a tick outside the best of the day. Previously he contested a heat and final at Warragul where he was easily beaten in the final. The second to the promising Every Four Years in the heat was a good effort. That is really good form for a race like this. While this will be his first try at The Meadows he looks really hard to beat. If he can get around the first turn unscathed and be within a few lengths of them down the back he has to be too good for them on his form.
