Good quality Dog who was a brave second at Sandown last week after racing outside Serena Bale the whole way. He had his chance but just wasn’t good enough. This looks an easier race on paper. In saying that he has had plenty of chances over the 515m here and has only managed one win from ten tries. That isn’t a flash record by any stretch. The smallish field along with box 1 and the Ennis factor have swayed me to best of the night at the odds on offer.
