This youngster has really hit his straps lately. He is chasing his third win in a row here at Warragul in the space of three weeks. He started from a similar wide draw last week and carved across into the first turn and raced away for a very easy win. His time was quite respectable considering it was late in the night. This field is certainly no harder and while Harvey has been consistent i think Smooth Criminal can cross him at the start and find the fence again. If that is the case he is going to be mighty hard to beat. There certainly looks more upside to him than most others in this field. Thought he might be slightly better odds than what early markets have him but still happy to make him the second best of the night.
