This Brooke Ennis trained dog is in tremendous form of late. Last start at Ballarat over the 545 metres he started a very short priced fav and didn’t let backers down. He was slow to begin from the red but mustered pace to rail through and powered away for an impressive win in the best time of the night. His previous start over the 525 metres at the Meadows he was again slow to begin but as usual made a b line for rails and won in easy style. Looks a very good bet from box 2 tonight and will be very hard to beat.
This Jeffrey Britton trained dog returned to form last start with an impressive win at Geelong over the 400 m sprint trip. He began only fairly from box one but mustered to pace to go around the outside of the field and despite copping a check in the run, powered away for a big win in the best time of the night 22:51. He has enough early pace to lead this field and will be very hard to run down as he finishes off his races in strong fashion. Looks a good price around the $3.50 mark.
