This Godolphin colt looks like he is in the right race today. Mural Crown was impressive in his first race start winning at Canterbury on the 21st July over 1200m. On that day he began evenly before mustering pace to sit behind the leaders until the home turn where he stayed on the rails and shot up the inside for an impressive win. Mural Crown had a 2 month break before resuming at Hawkesbury on 21st September over 1100m. It must be said it was an ordinary ride by Zac Lloyd that day with Mural Crown obliged to race 3 wide without cover the entire trip. He loomed up in the straight to go down narrowly in a 3 way go with his stablemate Los Padres winning the race. Zac Lloyd retains the ride today and from the draw i am hoping Lloyd can position Mural Crown just behind the leaders and given a good run i expect him to be very hard to beat . Looks good value around the $3.80 price.
