Made a mess of them here four weeks ago when she won by a long way over this same trip. She got well back from a wide draw and when pulled out she showed an explosive turn of foot for a very easy win. That was against her own sex and now she is up against the boys in what is a significantly harder field than what she beat here last time. While the form out of the race hasn’t been great, the way she put them away gives me plenty of confidence she can do it again. The only negative might be that the rail goes out 6 meters today from the true when she won here four weeks ago. As long as the track plays fairly I think she will be too good for them again. This mare is extremely consistent but doesn’t win out of turn. She looked certain to win last start but couldn’t reel in the winner after getting clear halfway down the straight. She had her chance after getting a sweet run from barrier one. That was a BM78 Fillies and Mares. Today she finds a No Metro Win Race for Fillies and Mares. This looks an easier field on paper and she drops 3 kilograms on her last start. With 53 kilograms after Angela Jones’s claim she looks extremely well placed in this field. She is going to need some luck from the wide draw but with the light weight I am banking on her getting back to winning form. While the price isn’t much of a spoil I think she will get the job done today.
