Tipping a horse with no gate speed as the best of the day is playing with fire. But the way Without A Fight won at his first run back from a 7 months spell it might not matter. Slow away and ended up well back on the fence and looked to be struggling at the 300m. When Mark Zahra got clear halfway up the straight he knuckled down and won like a good horse. While this field looks considerably stronger on paper than his first up assignment and this race is at set weights WFA if he has made natural improvement he will be hard to hold out. A lot of his opposition have had plenty of chances whereas he could potentially be a serious player come Spring.

What a ripper this guy is. He just keeps winning. This is his biggest test by far now trying to make the jump to WFA. The only knock has been his barrier manners lately. He has been tardy way at his last couple of starts. Last start he was slow away and did plenty of work to find the lead from a wide draw and fought on too well for a big win. He looked in trouble halfway down the straight but rallied to be too strong. While it is a massive jump up in class to a Weight For Age race this guy is the real deal. Happy to take the chance again.
