Good quality Mare who has really found form lately. Last start she broke quickly from the gates to land outside the leader then received cover and when asked in the straight she was too good. This field doesn’t look much stronger and she did beat half of them home last start. The big question is how much work will she have to do early to find a spot from the widest gate. She does have really good gate speed and with Shinn doing the steering i am happy to take the chance she can win again at the odds on offer.

He along with Cape Ferret are returning from a Queensland campaign. I am siding with Flying Trapeze. He raced on speed at Eagle Farm last start and looked certain to go past Azula in the straight but couldn’t get the job done. He has good gate speed and should be in the first few once again. I think the form from up north is stronger than the local form. He is drawn to get a good run again and at the odds i am happy to take the chance. While Tutta La Vita got badly held up last start when behind the leader i want to see him get a win on the board first before he will get my money. Flying Trapeze each way for me. (edited)
