Best Bet: Race 6, No. 4 Convener
Join NowHighly promising import who could easily be undefeated since arriving in Australia. Rounded them up nicely at Mornington for a very easy win. Form out of the race hasn’t been overly strong but looks like a horse who could be going places. If there is a run on bias it will be very hard to hold out.
Obviously Altivo is another horse on the way up as well but took a long time to get warmed up at Flemington last Saturday. Looks a two horse race on paper but both are backmarkers so there is always the chance of bad luck.
Best Bet #2: Race 7, No. 5 Renosu
Join NowBack from Adelaide where he sat on the speed and had every chance in a Listed Race. Form out of that particular race has been poor at best. Previously just missed at Flemington down the straight in another Listed Race. Led them up that day and had its chance. A drop back in class might see him back in the winners stall. Definitely want some odds as 1100m might be as far as he likes.
