NBA Betting Tips 2023-24: Saturday November 18th.

I’m going with the Suns at -5.5. The return of Devin Booker really changes the game for Phoenix. The Jazz struggle dealing with high quality opposition guards. His scoring and playmaking, combined with Durant’s consistency, give the Suns a serious offensive edge. The Jazz have been decent at home, but I think the Suns’ offense, especially with Booker back, can cover the spread.

Lakers at -8.5 here. LeBron is still performing at a high level, and the Blazers, despite having Grant and Sharpe, just haven’t been scoring enough. They rank last in the NBA in points per game. The Lakers haven’t been spectacular, but they’ve got more firepower, and I think they can cover against a struggling Portland offense. I’m expecting a big bounce back game from Anthony Davis too after getting dismantled by Sabonis last match in a disappointing loss at home to the Kings. This young Portland team is coming off a game yesterday so may be a little fatigued, adding to blowout potential.

I’m liking the Rockets to cover the +7.5 handicap. They’ve been playing with great teamwork and collectivity this year. Sengun’s selfless play has been a highlight, complemented by the scoring abilities of Green and VanVleet, and solid contributions from players like Brooks. On the other hand, the Clippers are hard to trust right now. They’re still figuring things out after the Harden trade, with a lot of big egos and ball-dominant stars to manage. Even though it’s an away game for the Rockets, I believe they can cover the spread.
