NBA Betting Tips 2023-24: Thursday, February 1st.

Going with the Thunder to beat the spread at -5.5 tonight! With Jokic sidelined for Denver, it’s a big opportunity for OKC, especially at home. Sure, the Thunder stumbled recently with those two losses, but overall, they’ve been on fire this season. SGA is killing it, and even without Jalen Williams tonight, I reckon they’ve got the depth to handle it. Denver’s solid, but without their main guy Jokic, I just can’t see them keeping pace with the Thunder’s energy. So, I’m feeling pretty good about a comfy win for OKC today.

I’m leaning towards the Phoenix Suns at -3.5 in their matchup against the Brooklyn Nets tonight. The Suns have really found their groove lately, with Booker leading the charge with some incredible performances and Durant doing what he does best. The addition of Beal back into the mix has made them even more formidable. On the other hand, the Nets have pulled off a couple of impressive wins recently, but there’s still something missing for them, especially with Simmons sidelined once more. Despite the game being on Brooklyn’s turf, the Suns’ current form and team synergy have me convinced they’ll not only win but also cover the spread. It’s hard to ignore the momentum Phoenix is riding into this game, so I’m backing the Suns to come out on top tonight.
